A project where Andy intended to single-handedly create a full scale brick replica of the 30-foot high chimney that sits on top of the Electric Press building on Cookridge St in Leeds. The project was initiated in Summer 2003 and has developed many threads including late night trips stealing bricks, making bricks out of reclaimed mud, snow and sand, and months spent making card bricks (see Half Scale Card..Half Scale Card Maquette.. project).

The project's aims were to make architecture and the labour involved in its creation less alienating and more exciting. Andy's intent was to question the boundaries between conceptions of worker and artist; art time and labour time; and play and toil. Every action is documented as an online journal.
