M@BU was a year-round music programme curated by Andy Abbott through his role as Fellow in Music for University of Bradford. Its aim was to introduce students, staff and the wider public to the innovative grassroots music scene in Bradford by hosting international touring and local acts in the city's independent venues.

Andy also oversaw the use of the Tasmin Little Music Centre on University Campus as a rehearsal, workshop and social space by the student-led Bradford University Music Society. He initiated Bradford Scratch Orchestra, a platform for musicians and non-musicians of any level of experience to engage in collective spontaneous composition, working with facilitators including Richard Ormrod, Seth Bennett and Mariam Rezaei.
