Friday Salon: Making Room: Domestic Spaces as Exhibition Places
Friday 7 November 2014
ICA, London

38b were invited to co-curate this Friday Salon at the ICA, to examine how artists and curators make use of their domestic space as a means to show their work among peers, in contrast with showing in established art galleries.

The panel included presentations from us, Tamsin Clark (Furnished Space, Camberwell), artist Michael Lawton and was chaired by curator Helen Kaplinsky.

Following the discussion, Will Edmonds served up his (South) West Coast Shandy cocktails.

Ross Jardine wrote a text specially for the discussion on the wider context of using domestic spaces as public spaces which can be downloaded here.
